Planning for God

Last week I reported that I was going to read and study one chapter every week (or so). Well, as I was reading yesterday, I received a message about a new project I am supposed to work on for God as well as needing to work on the current book a little more frequently. So, that sort of coincides with a sign I saw last week that read "If you want to make God laugh, go ahead and make plans for your life." Ü So even though I had a plan to get to know God and understand Him better, He has requested a pause to allow me to do something else for Him. So I will humbly obey His wishes.

Part of making time for God is just doing what He asks of you. He didn't request that I do both - continue studying the NT as I have been and write about the new subject. But His request was that I put aside the studying of future chapters in the NT to study this one section more in depth for a while so I can write about it. AND to work on the book a little more often. That is proof that God will not put more on you than you can handle.

Also, when I am making time for God's work, I am tithing my time to God. I thought I should put that reminder in there today.

Blessings in Christ,
Patricia
